Simply Spooky: That Scene In ‘Idle Hands’
They don’t make stoner horror movies anymore. Or at least they don’t make good stoner horror movies. “Idle Hands” is the perfect combination of horror, slapstick (or splatstick in this case) late 1990s fashion, and the perfect vehicle for teen heartthrobs Devon Sawa and Jessica Alba.
It’s perfectly stupid fun that would have gotten a much better response if it was made more recently. This is why you never listen to people who don’t like things. Most of them are full of shit.
Anywho, so remember ‘That Scene In’ “Idle Hands” when the lead singer from The Offspring (or Offspring if you’re adverse to adverbs) gets scalped by a disembodied hand that’s possessed by a demon? Must have not been a fan of “Americana.”
